Samantha Staudt was a four-year member of the Coatesville Area Senior High School golf team. She was named to the First Team All Chesmont Girls Golf Team every season, and she was the three -time Girls Chesmont Tournament Champion. She had two top Three finishes in the PIAA Regionals and qualified for the PIAA State Tournament four times. ln 2014, she was named the High School Girls All-Area Golfer of the Year; she received the Congressional Scholar-Athlete Award, and she won the USGA Pennsylvania Junior Amateur Championship.
While at CASH, she accomplished one of the most unique feats a golfer can achieve; in a nine-hole match, she recorded not one, but two holes-in-one at the lnniscrone Golf Club, which earned her a place in Sports lllustrated’s "Faces in the Crowd" section.
Samantha continued her golfing career at Seton Hall University where she was the Big East "Golfer of the Week" three times. ln the 2018-19 season, she finished 5th on the team and was ranked 19th in the conference. ln 2019-20, she was ranked 9th in the Big East with a 75.00 scoring average. She tied for 2nd place with a career best 3 under par at the Princeton invitational setting a school scoring record for a two-round tournament.
While at Seton Hall, she was named to the All-Academic Big East Team and the All-American All-Academic Team four times each. She made the Dean's List every semester at Seton Hall and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major.
Samantha resides in the Coatesville area and works in the finance sector for Morgan Stanley.
