Doug Hendricks is being inducted for his numerous positive contributions to the game of golf. Doug attended West Chester University where he played golf and basketball. While in college, he was sponsored to play on the PGA Club Pro Mini Tour.

ln 1987, Doug was inducted into the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA), and that same year was named the Head Golf Professional at White Manor Country Club becoming the youngest Head Golf Professional in the Philadelphia PGA section which encompassed over 500 golf facilities. Doug served at White Manor until 2001.

During his career, he hosted four PGA events, 1 Senior PGA Tour Event, and conducted 200 Charity Golf Outings. ln 1997, he received the Children's Champion Award for hosting and building the Buddy Program, which provides golfing opportunities for children with disabilities. Since 2002, Doug has been nominated for Teacher of the Year in the Philadelphia PGA eight times. Doug has excelled as a teacher and a coach giving over 35,000 golf lessons since 1987. Also, Doug was the coach of the West Chester University Women's Golf team from 2010-2019 leading them to their first and only PSAC Championship and being named PSAC Coach of the Year in 2010.

Doug was the co-host of the Emmy Award winning show, "Golf Shots" which aired over 100 episodes on Comcast Sportsnet from 2002-2009.

Presently, Doug is the Owner, Executive Producer and Host of "Winning Golf" which has aired over 170 episodes on NBC Sports Philadelphia in the Mid-Atlantic region since 2010.
