Cyrus Jones was the head track coach for Lincoln University from 1994 to 2010 and Professor of Health Science for 42 years. Professor Jones is a graduate of Florida A&M University in Physical Education and Tuskegee Institute in Corrective Therapy. He received his MS degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. He also studied physical education at the University of Delaware.
Coach Jones coached track for 36 years at Lincoln. He led Lincoln to 17 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships. Jones coached more than 300 All Americans at Lincoln, including Clive Terrelonge, the first Lincoln University Olympian.
