Dr. Ronn Jenkins West Chester University Swimming And Diving Coach, Ronn Jenkins not only excelled as a champion diver himself, but he was able to empower his athletes to become champion divers by his coaching expertise. As a Collegiate Diver Ronn Jenkins in 1964 won both the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Diving Championships, and the Mid-Atlantic Diving Championships. Upon graduation from West Chester State Teacher's College Ronn taught and coached at York Suburban High for three years, then was hired at Bucknell University to coach their Diving teams. While at Bucknell University Ronn Jenkins earned his Master's Degree in Counselor Education. In 1972 he returned to West Chester State and has coached the Men and Women's diving teams and continues to produce champion caliber collegiate divers. Since 1972 Ronn has produced over 50 NCAA All-Americans, an NCAA Champion, and 40 YMCA All-Americans. Dr. Jenkins has served the sport of diving well; he served on the NCAA swimming and Diving Committees, YMCA National Swimming and Diving Committees, and was the Diving Officials Coordinator for the 95' World Cup and the 96' Olympic Games. He continues to teach young divers as CEO of West Chester Diving LLC. Dr. Jenkins retired from teaching in 2004, but continues to coach champions at WCU as Head Coach of the Men's and Women's Diving teams. He was inducted into the WCU Hall Of Fame, William Penn Sr. High School Hall of Fame, and in 2013 was inducted into the Pennsylvania Swimming Hall of Fame.
