The 1994 Coatesville Girls Basketball team opened their season with a 90 to 22 drubbing of Norristown and never looked back on their way to a 29 and 1 record and the first State Basketball championship
in school history. This record breaking season was highlighted by a Ches Mont Championship, first place finish in the Ephrata Holiday tournament, and District One Championship. After beating Cheltenham
in the District Final the team went on to beat Governor Mifflin, Williamsport, Hazelton and Cheltenham again in the Eastern State Final setting up the final game with perennial state powerhouse Altoona.
Losing by 11 at halftime the Lady Raiders clawed back by employing a relentless full court press ending in a 68 to 58 victory.
