Attended West Chester High School where he lettered in football (four years),
basketball (four years) and track (three years), receiving a total of 13 letters
throughout his career. A member of the undefeated football team of 1931he was
an all-county selection through all four years of his high school football career,
and an all-suburban selection in his senior year. Bruno attended Malvern Preparatory
School where he also lettered in football, basketball and track. Nick went on
to play professional football with the Norristown LAM with brothers, Tony and
Paul. In 1992, Bruno was inducted into the West Chester Hall of Fame. He was
also the recipient of the West Chester University President's Award for leadership
and service in 2003.
