Rangers (1971-1983). Won 15 or more games four times in his career.
Enjoyed his best seasons from 1972-76 with the Mets and was selected
to play in the Major League All-Star Game three times (1974-75-76).
Made his Major League debut on July 11, 1971. Pitched his final game
on Sept. 15, 1983. His 13-year career produced 125 wins, including
97 complete games and 30 shutouts. Finished with 1,516 strikeouts in
2,363 innings of work. His career ERA was a sparkling 3.18. National
League Rookie of the Year 1972. 1975 All-Star Game MVP.
