Penn State quarterback (1920-1921). Penn State's first All-American.
Coached football and baseball at West Chester. He was a teacher
and the Dean of Men from 1935 until his retirement in 1970. Overall
record at four schools as football coach is 170-70-15. He never had a
losing football record at West Chester, coaching four unbeaten teams.
As a baseball coach at WCU, he won 340 games in 32 years.
