West Chester High School (1944-46) Lettered in football, basketball,
baseball and track. University of Kentucky (1947-51) All-America end
under head coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. Played on the Wildcats 1950
Orange Bowl team and 1951 Sugar Bowl squad. Also played basketball
for Kentucky under head coach Adolph Rupp and was a member
of the Wildcats 1949 national championship team. Canadian Football
League Gray Cup winner as both a player and as a coach. 1986 - CFL
Coach of the Year.
